Title: 341-06 Financial Counselor - Business Office - FT/D Location: NM-Las Cruces To perform accurate and timely collection o ensure account resolution. Assists patients with account issues to ensure satisfaction. To screen all self pay patients and assists them with the paper work for financial programs. EDUCATION- High School Diploma/ GED EXPERIENCE: Hospital or similar medical facility experience. Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress. Computer literate with spreadsheet and word processing applications. Organized, efficient and detail oriented.
